Silverwood - Frank Osborn, 79, (making it 1952 right?) a retired railroader, died about 6 p.m. Thursday at his home in Silverwood. He had been ill a few years. Son of WIlliam and Elizabeth Keller Osborn, the deceased was born Feb 15, 1873 in Parke County. He married Emma Robbins May 21, 1896. Surviving in addition to the widow, are 3 daughters, Mrs. Ethyl Grubbs, RFD Kingman; and Mrs. Alta Lange and Mrs. Virginia McMahan both of Ridgefarm Ill; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. The funeral arrangements are incomplete. The body is at the Woodrow Mortuary in Kingman where friends may pay their respects after 7 p.m. Friday. - kbz

Frank Osborn, 79 years old and a retired railroad employee, died at his home in Silverwood on Thursday Aug 21.  He was born on Feb 15, 1873 at Silverwood, the son of William and Elizabeth Keller Osborn. In 1896 he was married to Emma Robbins who survives with three daughters.  The latter are Mrs. Ethyl Grubbs of near Kingman; Mrs. Alta Lange and Mrs. Virginia McMahan, both of Ridgefarm, Ill.  Three grandchildren and four great grandchildren also survive.  Mr. Osborn was a member of the Modern Woodman lodge and widely known in southern Foutain and northern Parke counties.  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. DST on Saturday at the Woodrow Funeral Home in Kingman, conducted by Rev. Mr. Rumley = kbz
